The Yellowstone Trail transcontinental auto route

provides a totally unique, appealing and truly authentic

historic and scenic travel experience sought by American and foreign travelers.

And, by taking the tourist off the Interstates and into towns and areas off the established tourist route, its promotion will bring economic benefits to places with much to benefit.

The destination IS the trip.

If you, as a tourism professional, are fortunate enough to have the Yellowstone Trail pass through your area there are new opportunities waiting for you.

The Yellowstone Trail Association (YTA) is not in the tourism business – but we are in the education business and stand ready to provide ideas and information to support your tourism efforts.

Let us suggest that there is a difference between the promotion of “regular” destination tourism and your promotion of the trip as a destination.  Check the notes on the next page and have at it!

If you know tourism pros along Highway 66 or the Lincoln Highway, talk to them. They know It works.
